ADS Visits the DuSable Black History Museum

Our Adult Day Service program for seniors and adults with disabilities visited The DuSable Black History Museum. This past month, our participants embarked on a captivating journey to The DuSable Black History Museum, an iconic cultural institution in the city. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the generous staff at The DuSable History Museum for their contribution of tickets, making our ADS visit  possible.

Our Adult Day Service (ADS) program for seniors and adults with disabilities takes a trip to The DuSable Black History Museum.

What made this outing particularly special was the presence of a participant for whom this excursion marked a significant milestone – her very first visit to the museum. Witnessing her delight and fascination added an extra layer of meaning to the day, reinforcing the transformative power of these experiences.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the generous staff at the DuSable History Museum for their contribution of tickets, making our visit possible. Their support allows us to continue fostering a sense of connection, curiosity, and joy for our participants, creating memories that resonate long after the day concludes.

As we reflect on this month’s ADS visit, we look forward to the ongoing journey of exploration and shared experiences that define our Adult Day Service program.
